Dental accident

An accident in dentistry is a sudden and involuntary incident causing breakage, mobility or loss of one or several teeth.
In all cases it is important to react immediately so that emergency measures and a clinical evaluation are made rapidly. Photos and X-rays are essential to document the accident in order to announce it to the insurance. The Insurance Company will send a form (LAA or LaMal) to the dentist after a simple telephone call by the patient or parent. The dentist then sends the completed questionnaire back to the Insurance Company who will register a reference number for the file.
